Sarah Lee Gossett Parrish
Sarah Lee Gossett Parrish is a third-generation attorney.
She has achieved Martindale-Hubbel's highest AV PreeminentTM rating for peer and judicial review, and has been selected to the Bar Register of Preeminent Women LawyersTM.
The National Law Journal named Sarah Lee one of its 2019 Cannabis Trailblazers, and her law firm was
voted the Top Cannabis Business Law Firm in the State of Oklahoma in The Journal Record's 2020, 2021, and
2022 Readers Choice Awards. Sarah Lee also has been named one of the Global Top 200 Cannabis Lawyers
in 2021/2022 and 2022/2023, by Cannabis Law Report. She serves as a Vice-Chair of the American Bar
Association's Cannabis Policy Committee (2021-present).
As a former law clerk to a federal trial judge and a federal appellate judge at the Tenth Circuit Court of
Appeals, a staff attorney for over six years at the Oklahoma Supreme Court, and former general counsel to
Oklahoma's Consumer Credit Commission, I am adept at representing you in federal and state courts, at any
level—administrative/agency, trial, and appellate. A litigator to my core, if you need someone to help you
solve a dispute, let me know. I am also a trained and certified mediator, and am mindful that many times,the
best solution for my client is a settlement, not a trial.
Sarah Lee received her B.A. in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with the Silver
Leitzeiser Award for Outstanding Senior, Phi Beta Kappa, and Summa Cum Laude. While chairing the Oklahoma
Governor's Commission on the Status of Women, she was instrumental in starting the Oklahoma Women's Hall of
Fame.
A sought-after speaker, Sarah Lee has presented at CannaCon I and II in Oklahoma City, INCBA webinars, and
the EIP Oklahoma Canna Tech Expo. Often interviewed in print and digital media, Sarah Lee has been quoted in
Marijuana Business Daily, Los Angeles Times, The Denver Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe, and
The New York Times, and online publications of ABC News, Newsmax, InStyle, Food and Wine, The Leaf,
Leafbuyer.com, Cannabis Tech, CPA Practice Advisor, Cooking Light, and Health.com magazines.
She has written guest columns for Cannabis Business Executive, Marijuana Venture, and for several
years wrote a column for Oklahoma's Herb-Age Magazine. Sarah Lee has been a guest on numerous radio
shows, including Cannabis A to Z with Frankie Boyer, iHeart Radio, Andy Hooser The Voice of Reason, The Mike
Siegel Show, the Heidi Selexa Show, and KTOK. Her legal thriller took second place in the New York Law
Journal's 2006 Fiction Writing Contest, and she has shown her fine art photography at Art San Diego
and during Miami's Art Basel week at Spectrum Miami. Active in her community, Sarah Lee was elected
President of the Oklahoma City Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and President of the Oklahoma City Pi Beta Phi
Alumna Club. She is also a Sustaining Member of the Oklahoma City Junior League.
